Colors may differ slightly depending on your monitor. For your consideration is this stunning mid-century-modern 1950's era Murano art glass bowl attributed to artist and designer Alfredo Barbini. The hand blown glass is very thick and heavy with three folded sides and is in a lovely Robins Egg blue color. The interior of the bowl has glittery avventurina gold flecks and perfect bullicante controlled bubbles that start small in the middle and become larger as they approach the top edges of the bowl. The pontil mark is smooth, flat and polished... And this piece has no remaining affixed sticker, which is not unusual. Would be a fantastic addition to any collection! The bowl is 5 3/4" in diameter and stands 2 3/4" high. DEFECTS: Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are 3 very tiny black dots within the glass on the interior portion of the bowl from glass making process (see last photo). There are a few very minor scratches on the bottom pontil area from normal wear and use. This item has been cleaned prior to listing. Items will be sent to the address on file only!
