VINTAGE ITALIAN CASED GLASS PEACH BLOW WATER SET WITH LIDDED PITCHER & 6 TUMBLERS. The set includes a lidded pitcher and 6 tumblers. The beautiful "peach blow" glass fades from a cherry red color on the top to yellow-orange towards the bottom. The cased glass is white on the interior. The pitcher stands about 11 1/4" tall to the top of the lid finial (9 3/8" tall without lid). The base is approximately 5 1/8 wide. Each tumbler stands about 5" tall and has a flared top that measures 2 7/8" in diameter. All the pieces were hand blown with ground and polished pontil marks under the base. The retro form and bright colors give this set a great mid-century look that would appeal to anyone who admires artistically designed vintage glassware. This set is guaranteed to be vintage Italian art glass and not cheap Chinese glass. Condition of this collectible Italian peach blow water set is generally EXCELLENT. One of the tumblers has a rim chip (see photo), but there are no other chips, cracks, or fleabites on any of the other pieces. Several tumblers have small ash inclusions.

One tumbler is more orange than the others (see photo for comparison) and heavier, perhaps not part of the set originally. Overall, this vintage water set looks fantastic and displays beautifully. It would make a fine addition to any art glass collection. Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself.
