Antique C1890 Venetian Gold Fleck Diamond Optic Dolphin Bowl Salviati / Barovier

Presenting an beautiful Murano Venetian glass console bowl with dolphin handles produced by Salviati by Barovier c1890. This gorgeous scalloped diamond optic hand blown bowl with applied dolphins measures 15 from dolphins mouth to dolphins mouth x 10 wide x 3 3/4 high to dolphins mouth. Some of the gold fleck is internal and some applied.

The pontil has been appropriately ground so the bowl stands steady leaving partial rough edge authenticating it was hand blown. There are 2 v ery small flea bites to e ach of the dolphins tails. No other chips or flea bites. A few internal manufacturing inclusions and bubbles consistent with early Venetian glass.
