AVeM Murano 1950's Zanfirico + Aventurine Red Glass Round Bowl

Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian circular glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano , near Venice, Italy. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) , similar items are shown in the book "Fifties Glass" by Leslie Pina (page 50).

Decorated with silver leaf, patches of copper Aventurine , white Zanfirico lattice filigree, twisted ribbon canes, and multicoloured murrines! All of this is surrounded with an outer casing of red glass. Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included.

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite to the rim, shown in final picture.
