AVeM Murano Zanfirico & Aventurine Red Tutti Frutti Glass Tricorn Bowl

Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano , near Venice, Italy. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) , similar items are shown in the book "Fifties Glass" by Leslie Pina (page 50). Decorated with silver leaf, patches of copper Aventurine , white Zanfirico lattice filigree, twisted ribbon canes, and multicoloured murrines! All of this is surrounded with an outer casing of dark red glass.

Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included. Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
