Barovier & Toso Murano 50s Cordonato Oro Gold Leaf Red Glass Vase

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano , near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Barovier & Toso , part of the'Cordonato Oro' range.

Very similar pieces can be seen in the book'Italian Glass' by Leslie Pina, pages 31 - 32. In a stunning combination of red & clear cased glass, with loads of Gold Leaf inclusions encased in the glass.

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
