The vase was produced in Murano with the technique of processing one or more successive layers of glass of various colours. The glazing is thin glass molten glass added on to the main body of the vase forming a double glass layer. In the end, you will have a thin blown of two or even more layers of different colours - for example a white can be covered with green or a darker coloured glass can be covered with a light glass layer.
