European/Italian Art Glass Vase-Murano-Multicolor, End of Day-Mid Century Modern

An exquisite use of multiple colors combined to form a simple but elegant shaped vase for either use or display. Many of the hues used in this form tend to be dark but lighten up depending on the ambient light surrounding the vessel. I have tried to include multiple pictures in different type of light to give a thorough idea as to the true colors.

The price is hand blown as a large polished pontil can be viewed on the bottom. The flared vase stands 8 1/8" tall and measures 5 1/2" across the top opening. I can find no chips, cracks, damage or repairs, the interior is clean showing no staining or residue from use. I will mention and as visible in a picture, the bottom exhibits shelf wear due to movement on a surface. I also note interior bubbles scattered in mottled designs of the vase.

Neither of these points distract from the value or beauty of this example. I can visualize this beautiful vase in a windowsill with natural light flowing through to create a masterpiece of color. Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
