This amazing sculpture was created by a talented glass blower using brilliant green & white mottled glass, then cased in a thick clear glass with generous gold aventurine and gold flakes within. This proud exotic parrot depicts the Cockatoo with the feathered crown held high & proud on top of his/her head. This parrot sits upon a tree stump or branch of solid clear glass with gold aventurine embedded deep within the glass. Measuring 10" tall, 4-1/2" wide and 4 deep and weighing a solid 2 lbs and 8 ozs, this sculpture is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or damage.

Circa 1960's-70's, the original sticker was most likely removed or lost over the years; however, this piece is guaranteed Italian Venetian Hand blown Murano Art Glass. This Mid-Century Modern piece will look at home in any decor. Perfect in an office setting or perched in a window to capture the light sparkling of the generous gold aventurine.
