Extraordinary 1950's Murano Cenedese by Barbini Aquarium Glass Sculpture with unusual blue bottom. 6 1/2" x 8" x 2 (16.5cm x 20cm x 5cm) 8lbs. The fish and their fins are excellent examples of the meticulous and highly coveted aquariums produced by Barbini's collaboration with Cenedese during the late 1950's. Pieces in this good of a condition are very, very rare. It is likely between 70-120 years old.
It is not in brand new condition, unless I specifically state that it is. Therefore, there is going to be normal surface wear commensurate with an item that has likely changed hands several times. I take many pictures and I urge you to study them carefully. I will be more than happy to provide additional photos upon request.
