Italian Murano Glass - Bird, Nest, Eggs Bowl Sculpture - Blue, Turquoise, Gold. This is a beautiful Murano glass sculpture depicting two birds on a bowl or nest containing eggs. It probably dates to the early- to mid-20th century and seems quite similar in design to pieces from the Seguso vDa factory. In particular, the bird with the folded-in wings resembles some of their popular bird figures.

The coloring is primarily turquoise and blue, with darker tints at the top. The eggs in the nest contain gold aventurine, as shown in the photos. The piece is in very good condition, with no noticeable cracks or chips. There is some fogginess at the bottom of the bowl around the eggs, as shown in the photos. It's possibly from water, although I do not know the piece's full history. The overall dimensions are approximately: 6" x 4.75" wide and 4.25 tall. Please let me know if you have any questions!
