Magnificent Heavy Red Multi Colored Millefiori Art Glass Vase 11.5 Murano
This product is a stunning red multi-colored Millefiori art glass vase, standing at 11.5 inches tall. The vase features a hand blown glass with the millefiori design with a freeform slightly irregular shape, showcasing intricate hand-blown craftsmanship typical of Murano glassmaking in Italy. Without any marks I can't say it is Murano but the only glass I've seen with the gold flakes in it were attributed to Murano glass. This piece is heavy weighing in at just over 5 lbs in total. It sits nicely on the ground pontil end you can see slight difference in the level of the top rim obviously because this was hand thrown. Just a beautifully executed vase. The glossy finish and decorative nature of this vintage piece make it a standout addition to any collection of art glass vases. The last two pictures show a small speck of glass that is not smooth it sticks out just a bit as pictured.
