A vintage transparent glass egg with a gold leaf yoke. The egg was designed and manufactured in 1968 by Tapio Wirkkala for Venini. The egg is the medium size in the series measuring approximately 2 5/8 inches in length and 1 3/4 inches in width at its widest. The egg is acid etch signed "Venini / Italia" on the bottom, but it is barely visible. THE EGG IS PRESENTED FOR SALE "AS IS" AND IS NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE.
