Featuring a hand-blown organic, elongated teardrop form in translucent Lattimo White glass decorated with colorfu>l canes and murrina. The best of the best. Colors: White glass with red, yellow, mustard, blue and green hand-blown "Spots" vase with translucent colorful rods and bi-color spots by Anzolo Fuga Mid-century modern hanging lamp by Murano glass artist Anzolo Fuga. Unmarked, 12 1/2" H (excluding hardware) x 6 1/2" diameter. Born in 1914, Anzolo Fuga came from one of the most distinguished and oldest Murano glass families.
His father, Emilio Fugo directed the French-style crystal firm Cristalleria di Venezia e Murano. Anzolos mother, Adelaide Barovier, was the daughter of Guiseppe Barovier and a member of the Barovier and Torso legacy. Anzolo studied at the Istituto dArte di Venezia and later, between 1955 and 1968, Fuga designed for one of the most important glass houses in Murano, Arte Vetraria Muranese or A. Fuga passed in 1988 leaving an extensive legacy of Murano glass highly sought today.
