Murano Blown Glass Vase Mid Century Modern Artist Signed Schiavon Murano

This vase is pre-owned, been displayed, but has never been used. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a scratch line on the bottom of the glass that I discovered while photographing it.

The vase does not have a paper certificate but has been signed by its creator. It measures approximately 7.75 inches tall x 7.5 inches wide. This vase has been created in Venice, Italy at Murano Glass by Glass Master Schiavon. The Schiavon family has been creating blown glass art for six generations.

The vase features a beautiful color pallet of purple, blue, green, and clear glass. In order to create the magnificent colors and texture, the masters mix native minerals found on the Murano Island. This vase will make a fabulous gift for the art collector on your gift list or better yet, a wonderful addition to your own home décor.
