Murano Crimp Rose Pedestal Paperweight Pink Stripe Hand Blown Glass Vintage

This magnificent vintage art glass pedestal paperweight features a pink crimped rose atop green stem and leaves, encased in a clear orb. It can be hard to determine the origin of these Millville style paperweights. This example was most likely produced on the Isle of Murano.

The pink striped petals are very similar to the Degenhart paperweights. The rose, faces upwards but tilts slightly forward allowing for a perfect viewing angle from above. This piece measures 4 1/2" in height and 3 5/8" in diameter. In excellent condition it shows a few signs of very minor surface wear and has no chips, nicks, cracks, nor dings.
