Murano glass midcentury egg royal blue gold stripes glassmaster campanella livio

The gold just makes the piece. It is perfectly centered between the blue stripes all the way around the egg. I wish i could capture the sparkle of the gold better in photos. Just a neat little art object that catches the light beautifully. From egg tip to base is 2 3/4.

The circumference at its widest point is 5. Its a cute size, but a very sophisticated piece in its proportions (size, proportion of the lines to the whole). It has a lot of presence for its size. This is a mid-century piece since that was when campanella livio was actively glass making (see more on him below).

I can find no issues. It retains a gold foil sticker on the base reading (see last image).
