Afro Celotto was born on August 24, 1963 in Venice, Italy. At the age of 15 he began an apprenticeship wit the great Lino Tagliapietra. He spent years at the F3 International Art Glass Studio learning and developing with genius and passion the ancient techniques of glass art: filigrana and murina. In 1999 he opened his own Art Glass Studio in Murano. He is recognized internationally, his work has been bought by collectors as well as displayed in some of the top art galleries.
