Murano Owl Blown Glass Bullicante Sculpture Signed Licio Zanetti

This is an exquisite hand blown art glass piece signed, Zanetti, L, for Licio Zanetti, one of the great art glass blowers of Murano, Italy. Licio retired and his son Oscar continues. Probably dates to the 70's.

Stunning tiny controlled bubbles - bullicante technique - plays beautifully with the light throughout the piece. No chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs. There is only some light underside surface scratches from shelf wear and a tiny 1/4 long divot.

Measures just over 12 tall. The controlled bubbles dancing throughout the piece giving it a fabulous dimension and sparkle with the light. Below we have a video showing it on a rotating, color changing lightbox. Brings it to life in a stunning array of colors.

Light box not included, as ours is for demonstration only, and a little too small to have it display permanently on it. This would make a fabulous gift, or a treat yourself statement piece that would be a focal point in your own home. If you would like a second, for astounding bookends perhaps, we are most fortunate to have acquired another Zanetti owl from across the country in a separate listing. It landed in the Pacific Northwest! Because they are hand blown, each is slightly different with their own unique personalities given to the piece by master artisan Licio Zanetti. Weighs a little over 10 lbs. We want to make sure it "lands" in the right hands.
