Murano / Venetian Purple & Blue Vintage Sommerso Glass Vase

A Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano , near Venice, Italy. Made in the style of Flavio Poli's sommerso glassware for Seguso Vetri d'Arte , which has since been duplicated by several other well known manufacturers including Mandruzzato , Formia and Luigi Onesto. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian Sommerso technique. Measures approx 6 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
