This is a part set of four hexagonal glass Pagliesco tumblers designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini, dating from a pre-war design (c1932) but probably manufactured later in the 20th century, c1980. The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show age related wear and tear to the rims of the feet consistent with use. The glasses have hexagonal-shaped bowls measuring 5.5 cm (2.2 inches) across. The bowls are in the clear colour and are edged at the rims with turquoise.
The glasses are 15 cm (6 inches) in height. The bases are kicked in with rough pontil marks to the centre.
