RARE Vintage1983 Italian Murano Art Glass Pink Opalescent Shell Pearl Bowl Decor
This listing is for a very beautiful vintage piece of Murano Italian handblown glass art. This piece is a beautiful pink opalescent clamshell design and it includes the rare white glass pearl that goes with the piece. It measures: 8 1/8 inches Wide 5 1/4 inches Tall 4 3/4 inches Deep.
In my searches for other pieces similar to this style, I have found this piece to be nicer and more remarkable than most. What makes this piece more beautiful is how evenly it is shaped; and, how the extra heavy layer of clear glass all around the piece gives it more luster and shine; also, the gradient of colors are symmetrical and just beautiful, far more beautiful than most like it. It is a very heavy piece, weighing almost 5 pounds!
In addition to being a beautiful display art piece, it could also be used in other capacities such as a bowl, vase, or napkin holder. And, I've seen others sell that were missing the rare glass pearl that goes with the piece. Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
