Consider purchasing this exquisite Salviati Murano gold flecked Hand Blown Venetian glass - footed Centerpiece Compote with rigaree trim border sitting on a gold shot infusion stem modeled as a open mouth dragon over the clear gold flecked glass foot.. I estimate to be from the 1930's.. This lovely Venetian glass piece features agold flecked on clear blown glass with applied rigaree edging Compote - amazing dragon shaped glass stem with again the flecked gold giving it a pale champagne color - the concave clear base has the matching freckled gold...

Measures 8 5/8 inches at highest point by 7.25 inches top rim diameter - 4 inch base diameter.. Light signs of previous use and ownership should be expected consistent with age... A clean example - free of chips, cracks, nicks, stains or surface marks to the glass.. Any imperfections seem to be craft related only - air bubbles - some roughness along the dragon's claws possibly made during the making of the feet..
