The top open area measures 8.5" by 5" and the base diameter of is 3.5. The vase is in pretty good vintage/use condition, free of large chips or cracks. There are wear scratches on the bottom, a tiny chip on the bottom edge as well as very very tiny nicks on the bottom edge, not visible on display.
