This is a 1950s Venetian blown art glass egret or other wading bird. The body is aqua, emerald, and very pale blue; the bill and crest are dark yellow, and the base is amber color. The glass is very heavy, and the finishing is well done.

The original paper tag says: HAND MADE VENETIAN J. MADE IN ITALY I learned from the internet that JI Co was in import company that worked with specific companies on the island of Murano to produce exclusive designs for the American market. SIZE: This figurine is about 9 1/4 tall.
