EXQUISITE EXAMPLE OF BOROVIER & TOSO 1950s ITALIAN MURANO GLASS. Presenting an exceptional miniature Cordonato D'oro (Gold rope) 1950s Italian Murano art glass vase designed by Ercole Borovier for Borovier & Toso.

This exquisite piece features a lavish amount of real gold aventurine inclusions. The gold forms spiraling stripes which perfectly follow the contour of the ribbed form. The interior of the vase is cased in a glistening opalescent white which sparkles with fiery red opalescent tones.

The fineness of the craftsmanship, masterful techniques and exceptional finish combine to create a most appealing example of 1950s Italian Murano art glass. This piece is very well finished with a quality, flat ground polished base. SIZE: This fine piece stands approx 70mms tall, measures 90mms in length and 55mms in width. CONDITION: This exceptional example is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. MARKS: This is an unsigned but well documented example which is undoubtedly the work of Borovier & Toso.
