Vintage Large Murano Blue And Green Hand Blown Made In Italy Art Vase
Murano NETRO SEGUITO SECONDO LA TECNICA DEI MAESTRI DI MURANO. NETRO FOLLOWED ACCORDING TO THE TECHNIQUE OF THE MASTERS OF MURANO. Fabulous hand crafted free form swirled Italian art glass vase created in the style of Murano glass artisans. The striking contemporary design with an undulating organic lip is enhanced by the swirled glass pattern in shades of pale and pastel blues, clear, and white. Substantial in size, the vase stands approximately 16" in height on a 5" diameter base, measures 11.25 wide at the opening and weighs nearly 7 lbs.
The original label is attached near the interior lip and is interpreted as follows: Glass executed according to the technique of the Masters of Murano Italian Art Glass. The vase is in wonderful condition, there are a couple scratches at the bottom and a tiny flea bit at the base no compromising imperfections found. Wear is commensurate for age and history of gentle display use so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing. A large and dramatic piece of fine Italian art glass that will make a statement wherever its displayed.
