Vintage Pair Venini Murano Art Glass Candlestick candle holder Blackamoor figure
EXTRAORDINARILY GORGEOUS & Exquisite Vintage pair of Venetian Art Glass Candlesticks or candle holders figural Blackamoor in a very rare color and finish. Up for sale is this Very rare pair Murano hand blown clear, iridescent surface Italian art glass bkackamoor, with applied gold flecks and iridescent black face' hands and calfs. Documented to Paolo Venini, but not signed underneath. I have seen glass blowers blow glass, but to make something this quality, it took quite a few masters to make. Profusely covered in gold leaf on all suit trim. Take a minute and study the pictures. When the light shines thru this Art Glass piece it takes your breath away. Stunning for display or use. Because they are hand made one is slightly taller than the other.
11" tall and the second is 10 3/4" tall and they stand on 3 1/2 round base. The shape and lovely color will be a splendid focal point on tabletop as well as shelf display.
It is all at once functional. White spots in photos are light reflections.
